Below shows a breakdown of student rates by room type. Students applying enter into a Lease Agreement to occupy the property for the tenancy period and are liable for rent during this term. Rent is paid in 2 moiety payments broken down as follows;
- 1st Moiety Payment: September to January. Also due at this time will be the non refundable Utilities charge & Electricity/Bill management fee. Payment is due by 5.00pm on the 13th August 2021
- 2nd Moiety Payment: February to End May. Due on or no later than 3rd December 2021
- Applications made after the 13th August will need to pay in full within 24 hours

Booking/Security Deposit: €300 is payable on confirmation that application has been accepted and is refundable 6-8 weeks after departure less damages or missing items. Wear & tear is taken into consideration but excessive damage is payable by the student. A full statement of account will be available to each resident. Payment of deposit is to be made by bank transfer, please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org for bank details.
Application Cancellation Policy;
If the applicant is unsuccessful in their application to their chosen college and wishes to cancel the accommodation, the applicant must cancel by email by close of business on the 13th August 2021. Cancellations by telephone will not be accepted.
In the event of cancellation by the aforementioned date, a €100 cancellation fee will be deducted from the booking/damage deposit and the remainder refunded. Refunds will be issued by bank transfer only. If the applicant cancels after the cut-off date outlined above, no refund will be issued and the full €300 deposit will be retained.
Electricity/Bill Management Fee: An electricity prepayment and bill management fee of €400.00 is made per applicant and is payable along with the 1st Moiety. Management pay the bills on behalf of the students. Students will be kept informed throughout the year in relation to how much has been spent on Electricity. The electricity deposit is a pre-payment. Any refunds due to residents will be refunded with the rest of the deposit refund at the end of the year. Where bills exceed the prepayment the additional charges will be deducted from the damage deposit or will be billed separately.
Utility Payment: A non-refundable utility fee of €292.00 is payable along with the 1st Moiety payment amount above. This fee covers satellite TV, refuse, TV licence and WIFI
Keycard Deposit: A €10 Key charge will apply if keys are not returned at the end of the academic year, in good working order.
A standard Lease Agreement is entered between the student and their Landlord. The lease holder is obliged to follow the terms and conditions of the Village Rules, which outline the Rules & Regulations in place for the development and which forms part of the lease. It is a requirement that all students residing at Glasán MUST have a signed lease. The lease is available within your student portal. It must be signed by both Tenant and their Guarantors. The witness can be any person in the house hold over 18 years old. We do not require the lease to be signed in the presence of the office staff at check in. To avoid delays on check in, we require the lease to be fully completed and returned to the Glasán office at a date that will be confirmed in due course.
Wi-Fi access codes and maintenance service will not be provided until the signed lease agreement is returned to the office.
