Below shows a breakdown of student rates by room type. Students applying enter into a Lease Agreement to occupy the property for the tenancy period and are liable for rent during this term. Rent is paid in 2 moiety payments broken down as follows;
- 1st Moiety Payment: September to January. Also due at this time will be the non refundable Utilities charge & Electricity/Bill management fee. Payment is due by 5.00pm on the 18th August 2022
- 2nd Moiety Payment: February to End May. Due on or no later than 1st December 2022
- Applications made after the 18th August will need to pay in full within 24 hours

Booking/Security Deposit: A booking deposit will be requested on confirmation that your application has been accepted, this then becomes your security deposit from the 1st day of your lease. The deposit amount is equal to one month’s rent for your room choice.
The booking/security deposit is refundable 6-8 weeks after departure less damages or missing items. Wear & tear is taken into consideration but excessive damage is payable by the student. A full statement of account will be available to each resident through their Student Portal to coincide with deposit return. Payment of deposit can only be made online through our Booking Engine at the time of application. Once your application is complete each applicant is provided with their own individual Username and Password to access the Glasán Student Portal.
Electricity & Bill Management Fees: An electricity prepayment of €400 and bill management fee of €50.00 is made per applicant and is payable along with your 1st rental instalment. Each house/apartment is metered for pre-pay electricity, and is topped up over the course of the academic year. Our current prepay provider is Pinergy. The pre-pay meters allow students to monitor and have greater control over their electricity usage on a daily basis. In the unlikely event that a house/apt runs out of electricity credit between top-ups they simply report this to management/security who will provide them with a top-up card, allowing the students to purchase additional credit from a local Paypoint shop. At the end of the academic year if credit remains on the meter this will be reimbursed equally among all residents in the house/apt.
Utility Payment: A non-refundable utility fee of €350.00 is payable with your 1st rental instalment. This fee covers satellite TV, refuse, TV licence and WIFI.
Key Deposit: A €10 Key charge will apply if keys are not returned at the end of the academic year, in good working condition
All Payments are made online through your student portal for tracking purposes; Deposits are refundable within 6-8 weeks after the end of the lease.
